I was pretty specific about what I wanted in an apartment and I had been looking for a long time by myself. When I got in touch with Hikari Homes, they were very quick to respond. Kato san took me to a lot of different places that met my requirements. He was very patient and helpful so I can't recommend their services enough. Erica

I approached Hikari with a very strict search criteria which was received by Kaz with enthusiasm from the start. They took the time to listen to my needs and provide me with some great options which exceeded my expectations. Kaz showed excellent attention to detail as well as realistic advice. Finally he handled the closing process professionally and got us a great deal in the end. I would recommend any individual or business looking for new apartments to Hikari, and I was particularly impressed that their entire staff were bilingual which made things much easier for me.

I have lived in Tokyo now for 8 months and did not have much luck in finding a place I have been 100% happy with until now. I came across an ad on the internet about several apartments for rent that were ``Gaijen Friendly`` and did not require so many payments up front such as key money, agent fee, deposit and guarantor. When I ran across the Hikari Homes Inc. Real Estate Agency advertisement, I immediately inquired about one apartment I thought I would be interested in seeing. However, when I called, I spoke to a very kind and helpful gentleman named Kaz Harada. Kaz really helped me and offered to view 3 apartments that were within my monthly budget and in my ideal location. He worked hard and was very professional the entire time. I am extremely grateful for his help and patience too. I strongly recommend contacting Kaz Harada at Hikari Home Inc. because he was extremely kind, hospitable and really makes you feel you are well taken care of in finding a home away from home! =D It also helped tremendously that Kaz can speak English extremely well since unfortunately, I don't speak Japanese. "Yes, it is difficult to find an apartment in Tokyo when you are not Japanese. It is way more easier when you deal with the best real estate agent in town. Kaz helped us from day one until we got the keys. Before that, we visited together about 30 different apartments. All of them were awesome. I must say Kaz quickly understood what we were looking for.
Once we made our decision - which was not the easiest part - he succeeded in getting us two months free rent and some other benefits. He worked very hard for us, that's for sure, even on his day off he called to update me. We really had the feeling to be his unique customer, which was obviously not the case. Then, he eventually called the electricity, gas and water company for us. I am telling you, the man is an angel and a formidable negotiator !
In addition to that, we spent really good times talking together and I hope I'll be able to meet him again in other circumstances.
In any case, I already know that next time I am looking for an apartment, I'll go directly to Hikari Home's office.

Kaz and Hikari home did an exceptional job for us in searching for a new apartment.Kaz was an excellent negotiator with the landlord in getting me a better deal as well as a 1 month free rent which reduced the cost of my relocation significantly. i think i found a long term friend and partner. I was really desperate when I was looking for an apartment company and most companies have lots of problem and wasn't really helpful. I found this apartment company by chance and met Kato-san ,who was very kind and professional . It feels like customer's need is their first priority and very good negotiation for solving the problems .Highly recommended , if this company is not capable of getting an apartment , then I'll be really doubt if any of the other company would.
