Chico from USA

About a month ago, I started hunting for a new apartment in Tokyo. I
didn't have much of a strategy. I Google'd a few search terms. I sent
e-mails to a few realtor companies, addressed to nobody in particular.
I braced myself for weeks of confusion.

But a grim apartment search turned into an enjoyable (and successful)
one for one lucky reason: Kaz Harada read the message I sent to Hikari
Homes. Harada-san, it turns out, is terrific at his job -- friendly,
reliable, industrious. On my behalf, he worked quickly and honestly,
showing me to just the sort of apartments I was interested in seeing.
When minor problems came up, Harada-san found easy solutions. When a
wire transfer to the property owner didn't go through, Harada-san
called the bank and made it work. Not once did the process feel
overwhelming or stressful. And eventually, I ended up with a great
apartment -- and four months of free rent.

I don't anticipate moving again while I live in Tokyo, but if I do,
I'll take a more direct approach to my apartment hunt: I'll call
Harada-san from the get-go. That's a strategy I would advise for
anybody.

As a non-Japanese speaking foreigner, I expect difficult and hassle when moving apartment. However, right from my first contact, Kaz made everything really easy for me. He really listened to what I was looking for, suggested a select range of good options, and I’d made my decision within a couple of weeks. He made all the paperwork and planning as simple as he could, and managed to fit our meetings around my schedule. I’m recommending Kaz to anyone looking for an apartment in Tokyo.

Michael and Daphne from Taipei

Finding a suitable apartment overseas, within your budget and lifestyle needs, can be a challenging experience at best. Having lived and worked overseas for over fifteen years, I have worked with a number of realty agents. Kaz, I can truly say, is one-of-a-kind. He has many strengths, far too many to list here, but when it comes to searching for an apartment in Tokyo, three immediately come to mind. Kaz listens. He takes the time to understand your needs and operates in a clear and open style to help you feel confident and comfortable. Kaz delivers. He will find a range of apartments that meet your needs then work with you and the leasing company to create the best offer available. Kaz helps. He understands the difficulties of living overseas and works with you to solve problems. He’s not afraid to offer his opinion and working with him is very much like working with a trusted friend. I highly recommended his services.
